Our timber is stocked as waney edged boards or as a range of square edged board sizes, sawn or planed all round. In addition we will be pleased to quote for non standard sizes or for preparing timber to your cutting list, or for supplying sufficient waney edged boards for you to cut down to your own list. We can also supply T&G flooring boards machined to order.

Payment

We accept Debit Card payments, Cash by arrangement, Cheques in advance. Credit Card and Business Card payments may be subject to a surcharge, please ask for details.

Mail Order

You are very welcome to visit us to select boards or turning blanks but to avoid disappointment, please do telephone first.  If you are unable to call on us we will be very happy to select your timber for you and dispatch it by carrier.

Carriage

Standard Parcel with the Post Office

Anywhere in the UK, Standard Parcel up to 1.5m long and 4 kg in weight, provided the combined length and width doesn’t exceed 3m (ideal if you want to order one or two Bowl Blanks)  £12.00 (including VAT)

Parcel with TNT

The cost of sending timber with TNT  anywhere on the mainland of England, Scotland (excluding Highlands and Islands) or Wales, up to 2.4m long and 20kg in weight,  is currently £15.00 (inc. VAT).  Other carriers may also be used.  For larger or heavier parcels please contact us and we will be happy to quote.

Deliveries outside of the UK Delivery to Northern Ireland, Ireland and other Islands and remote areas may be subject to a surcharge. 

Larger orders may be delivered on our own vehicles or by a haulier,  prices dependant on your location and the nature of your order.

We will be happy to calculate the cost of carriage for you before you place your order with us.

Timber Stocks

We have a comprehensive range of timbers in stock including Acacia, Apple, Ash, Beech, Box, Cedar of Lebanon, Western Red Cedar, English Cherry, Sweet Chestnut, Elm, Holly, Hornbeam, Laburnum, Larch, Lime, Field Maple, Mulberry, Plane, Lacewood, Poplar, Sycamore, American Walnut, English Walnut, Yew.

English Oak is available as Premium grade, Character grade, Brown Oak, Pippy or Burry Oak, Tiger Oak and Fresh Sawn or Green Oak for beams, posts and garden decking.

Delivery prices are dependant on your location and the nature of your order. When your order is delivered, or if you collect it, you will be asked to sign a delivery/collection note which will be taken as proof of delivery/collection.  Please note any shortages or damaged goods on the paperwork and all damages or shortages must be reported to us in writing within 7 working days and in any event before the goods are used or cut.  In the event that you are not entirely happy with any timber we send to you, and provided that you tell us within 7 days and have not already used or in any way worked the timber, we will be happy to accept the timber back and give you a full refund.  However you must arrange to return the timber to us in its original condition and you will be responsible for that cost. This does not apply to timber which has been machined to your specification or has been cut to size at your request, in these cases we will only refund if the goods are faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Although we try to keep it up to date, timber prices do fluctuate and we can not guarantee that prices given on this site are always correct.  Please phone us to confirm the price of the items you require.
