Gallery - Our self-build,with Interesting Timbers Oak Roof Trusses etc.

We have spent many weekends on our  self-build project which includes an Oak Framed Roof which David, B.Eng. (hons), designed for our own home (202 Oak Frames have been designed exclusively by David B.Eng)

We Catherine and David the owners of Interesting Timbers have designed every aspect of this now finished building. As we have done the majority of the work on this building ourselves it has taken quite a few years to build! Click photo icon to see larger images

This building includes some of the products we produce at Interesting Timbers: Oak Roof Trusses, Oak Staircases, Oak Floors, Oak Skirting Boards and Internal Doors. Oak Window Shelves and Internal Oak Beam Facia Covers (to cover steel work and concrete lintels, whilst looking like an actual beam) One of our Bespoke Wooden Kitchen Worktops. Externally we have Oak Rafters and Oak Sarking Boards to the overhanging eaves along with our Feather Edged Oak Cladding and External Oak Decking.
